Lacrosse for a Purpose

Net proceeds from the Finger Lakes Lacrosse Play Days will support Champions for Life, Inc. Champions for Life operates the CFL Sports Center, Everest Park, and the Brian Bisgrove Home of Courage. CFL serves children and families in Central New York, with the goal of developing character and Christian virtue, while also supporting their families.

The CFL Sports Center offers instruction in a variety of sports, from gymnastics, to tennis, soccer, indoor lacrosse, and more. We also offers a true 24-hour fitness center, the only public, indoor tennis facilities in Cayuga County, birthday parties, home school fitness instruction, one on one mentorship for people with developmental disabilities, and more!

Everest Park is the home of the Finger Lakes Sports Series, offering Play-Days and clinics in soccer, field hockey, and lacrosse, as well as lacrosse league play. Everest also hosts the Finger Lakes Mud Run, the CNY Cyclo-Cross race, and the Easter Spirit 5K on Easter Weekend.

The Brian Bisgrove Home of Courage is a respite home for families who have children with life threatening illnesses or life altering conditions. Each family is provided, free of charge, with three to four days of rest and relaxation. Families can let go, for a little while, of the stress of daily life, enjoy each other's company, and focus on growing faith and family unity.
