Champions for Life is committed to growing the game of soccer in Central New York and beyond! Soccer remains one of our country’s fastest growing sports.  Indoor soccer teaches ball control, communication, precision passing and shooting – all of which help to raise the level of each player’s game. Most importantly though, whether playing a game or receiving instruction, indoor soccer is lots of fun!

Spring Soccer Clinics

Our stable of coaches have over 50 years of combined experience in coaching youth soccer at all levels, including over 15 years at the varsity level! We focus on developing footwork, skills and tactics in a fun and positive environment where players of all abilities can learn and grow at their own pace. We bring relentless enthusiasm in the most positive way to engage the youth in a high energy atmosphere. Our target is to get the youth more confident on the ball and grow to love the game.

There are separate clinics for boys and girls. Players of all abilities aged 8 - 12 are encouraged to register for the clinic.

Spring Soccer Leagues - NOT CURRENTLY RUNNING A LEAGUE AT THIS TIME

We’re excited to bring back youth soccer leagues to the sports center! We want to host to a girls division and boys division in an effort to bridge the gap between U10 and U12. Our U11 leagues will allow for athletes in Grades 3-6 participate in a fun and enjoyable atmosphere. They are going to be a developmental league with the expectation of positive instruction and guidance from coaches and referees. (We understand the competitive nature of the sport and want to capture the energy while maintaining a high standard of sportsmanship from players, coaches and spectators.)

What you need to know:
— Games will be on Saturdays for 8 weeks.
— Each team will be guaranteed 8 games per session (doubleheaders may occur due to scheduling conflicts/holidays)
— Game play will be 50 minutes in length — two 25-minute halves plus 5-minute halftime. Games start promptly on the hour.
— 5 v. 5 format (including goalie) — Substitutions can be made during the flow of play
— A minimum of 6 players per registered team. There is no maximum number of players per team. All players must be waivered at the beginning of each session.
— Each team will have a parent coach/volunteer coach responsible for communication and correspondence with the league.
— In order to keep the games as fair and balanced as possible, we will have provisions in place. Fair play and sportsmanship are paramount to our sports center’s mission.

COACHES AND/OR PARENT VOLUNTEER registering the team is responsible for payment at the time of registration. We will contact ASAP to send a roster form and link to a waiver form to be filled out by parents. The registration process will be complete once all information has been attained.

League Coordinator — Andy Collier (Champions for Life Director of Programming) — andrew.collier@championsforlife.org / (315) 252-9305 x.104

***If a player would like to play in the league but doesn’t have a team, contact the League Coordinator and we can work to get the player on a squad. If there are enough players without a team, we may be able to create a house team.
